The first couple chapters give you an overview of a disaster recovery planning process and the subsequent chapters provide a more indepth coverage of each step. There are sample forms, examples, case studies, etcetera. This is an excellent resource to prepare you for the possible unknown.

I want to say that the reason I took this class is because it was labeled Cyber-terrorism and not disaster recovery. This is a small book, pages including the index and it seems like it goes on and on.
This book could have been summed up in three or less chapters and instead is filled with useless information like "Did you know that two out of ten organizations hired an outsider to plan for the organizations disaster recovery?
The bad thing is that the book assumes that you are a complete idiot and goes on to say "Eight out of ten organizations use in house planners for disaster recovery. I found this book to be bloated and condescending, one star because paper it's printed on burns rather nicely.
Pass the exam. This is a required reading for hybrid class at Sacrament City College. The material will be supplemented by other reading materials. If you have not been in a disaster recovery process it would be a good material to start with. The book is easy to read and to understand. I already read three chapters, they very clear. The questionnaire at the end of the chapter reinforce the material.
