Over the past few weeks I have noticed that when ever I download multiple files over P2P networks, or via game clients such as Origin and Steam, the speed will stay at a constant 8.
It lasts about 30 seconds before the router regains internet connectivity and devices get their connection back - it will then start downloading again for another 20 or 30 seconds before dropping out again.
This only happens with files that take longer than 30 seconds to download, if the connection remains constant for about 30 seconds then this issues starts to happen - very frustrating! I have had this issue with sky and still having this issue but not located to bt or this contrey as i know people in the usa that have same issue. I tried having a look at the diagnostics page on the router to see if I could find any SNR information for line attentuation that may point to an unstable line - unfortnatly it looks like the logs no longer record SNR information but did find the stream of logs of Disconnect and Reconnect, this is 1 segment, after the top PPP IPCP line the whole stream repeats itself for the duration it took me to download the file I was downloading.
